Ran is the managing partner at Wildebeest, an independent software agency located in Marina Del Rey, California. Ran and his team have been together for a little under a year, with Ran piloting Fluid on a single contract over the past three months. Ran describes Fluid as, “a great way for you to get paid.”
How would you describe your agency?
It is early for us, but we are a small agency focused on working with companies large and small to answer product and brand questions through software and design.
Who are your target customers?
We work with both small startups and large companies.
How would you describe your typical engagement?
The average engagement right now is between 4-6 months.
*How did you get introduced to Fluid? *
Actually, our clients suggested Fluid to our team.
How would you describe Fluid?
Fluid acts as a safety blanket for us. It is nice to know that the money is there if we need it, but it is also nice to know that payment can be processed on time at no fee.
Did you ever consider alternate financing options?
Financing was something we really never considered.
How would you describe payment on a typical contract?
Some clients forward the money right away. Other clients have put us on net-30 or net-60 contracts. Honestly, we have great clients and have never had a lot of problem with payments.
How has your experience been thus far?
Great. It is hard to have the payment conversation with a client. Changing terms or even payment schedule a lot of the time is not an option. Fluid is a great way to receive payment as fast at the invoice is approved.
